Needle Felted Fleece Sheep
A 16 and one half " by 23" pieced sheep was made from felt. I used a
Mccalls pattern.
Large dowels were placed in the legs for support and the body stuffed
with fiber filler.
I bought a full fleece from a farm that keeps it's sheep blanketed
during the year to keep the fleece clean. I seperated individual locks
from the fleece, washed them carefully then needle felted them on to
the felt sheep individually. I carefully over lapped the ends of each
row with the row below it.
